Mrs.4d (The Series) Review
The first two episodes of Mrs.4d were definitely enjoyable, but by the end of the first episode it was obvious that they needed to find another personality for the main character. If you are thinking about buying this series then be warned that this is definitely not for you.
Although it is an animated TV series, it can get pretty confusing at times especially to the viewers who have no experience in watching cartoons with complicated plots. There are times when you will really think that Mrs.4d is just kids' show until one of the characters or the main character gets into trouble and the protagonist helps them resolve the situation.
In the first two episodes of Mrs.4d, the main character played by Kylie Minogue was always right in every situation. It was as if she knew how to solve all of her problems and helped the others to solve theirs. In the end of the first episode, we could see that she was on the verge of being arrested for her actions but when she put the final touches on the scripts for the next episode, the story took a completely different turn.Chick here for more details about Nyonya4d
This is the reason why the writing of the show is always the most important character. Although the writing in general is not as good as the other characters of the show, the writers are definitely talented enough to keep the story moving along in the most efficient way possible. The most common complaints that viewers had been actually the plot problems that were in fact not there in the first place but the writers just made up excuses that made the plot difficult to follow.
There were several instances where the main character used some magic to solve a problem that she himself did not even know existed. Then there were the instances where the main character acted out of the character of the main character in the first episode and then suddenly turned out to be one of the main characters in the next episode. Although these situations were rather funny at first, they eventually became frustrating to watch.
In conclusion, this is definitely not for young children because there are some points that need to be clarified especially on the plot development. Even though the story is very simple and straight forward, there are times where the viewer would really be confused.
The writing of the show is also the key character especially during the first two episodes because the writers finally realized that they needed to give Mrs.4d some real character. They did this by introducing new characters but all of them were introduced as friends of the main character. This was in fact very confusing to the audience, since at the beginning of the show they didn't know that the main character would suddenly turn out to be their friend in the end.
Overall, the story of Mrs.4d is definitely not for young children because it has many inconsistencies in its plot development and the main character itself. Despite all these, it is still entertaining to watch. Although the plot of the show is very complex and hard to follow, the producers did their best to make sure that the story is enjoyable for the viewers.
