Sig Sauer P226 Review

Sig Sauer has made a name for itself in the field of handgun technology by creating some excellent semi-automatic pistol models. The Sig Sauer P226 comes in a variety of sizes and designs and is one of their most popular products. This is an older model but has a long standing tradition of reliability and durability. It has found a place in law enforcement as well as other industries by being able to use both its size and power to effective effect.

The Sig Sauer P226 comes in four different sizes. The smallest model is the Sig Sauer P226 Sub-chamber, which is designed to be used in pistol training and to have the smallest overall grip. The other three sizes are the Sig Sauer P226 Carry and Sig Sauer P226 Target. The third size, the Sig Sauer P226 Compact, is the smallest of the bunch and is perfect for a person who may not require as much concealment as the others.

Sig Sauer makes the Sig Sauer P226 with a docking design. This means that once the pistol is chambered, the next time you pull the trigger, the hammer will be released automatically, thus releasing the chamber and loading a fresh round into it. This is opposed to a conventional pistol where you must cock the gun after each shot and must make safety manual adjustments to ensure there are no issues with firing while in an appropriate range. Because of this design, the Sig Sauer P226 can be used with less accuracy and is better suited for uses requiring rapid fire.

One of the features that set the Sig Sauer P226 apart from the competition is its rail system. Unlike many semi-automatics, the Sig Sauer P226 has an external rail located on the top of the barrel - but it's not the only part of the gun. Rather than having a single rail, the PSS comes equipped with six separate rails, which are easily seen and reached by the user. The rails themselves are designed to be comfortable for the user to hold, and have been reinforced in order to prevent slippage during actual use. In addition to the single and six rails, the Sig Sauer PSS has a trigger guard, which can be lowered for an improved feel during shooting.

Despite its size, the Sig Sauer P226 still manages to pack a lot of power. It uses a Sig Sauer pistol primer, and a blowback cylinder to propel BB's downrange. In addition to its traditional pistol style blowback, the Sig Sauer P226 has an automatic blowback system that utilizes a series of gears and ball bearings to boost velocity and energy. As it moves downrange, the gears and bearings kick up the BB and compress the air inside the pistol casing, helping propel it downrange at high velocities. This system is more efficient than what the handguns used in the past used, and results in much less recoil and less wear and tear on the firearm.

Sig Sauer has taken its expertise in handguns and applied it to their Sig Sauer P226 pistol. While still not as fast or aimble as a fully-automated handgun, the Sig Sauer P226 manages to pack a lot of power in a small package. Combined with its smooth-rolling slide, the Sig Sauer P226 makes for a solid, concealable, reliable handgun.
